Three basic Opus models are manufactured:

1. Opus Fiber

This is the lightest Opus variant designed for recreational slope flying

Wing structure

Elevator features the same cloth structure as a wing
Fuselage is made of five layers of fiberglass

2. Opus Carbon

This Opus variant is designed for a competitive slope flying. The main difference between this and the Fiber model is 93g/m carbon cloth used in the 2nd layer instead of 70g/m fiberglass.
Fuselage is made of four layers of fiberglass complemented with one layer of carbon cloth.
The same applies to an elevator.

3. Opus DS Special

This Opus variant is designed for dynamic soaring(DS) where it is subjected to an extreme loading.

Wing structure

Main beam carbon flanges are part of wing skin and each half of the wing features 22 carbon rovings, type 1600 TEX. The stalk between flanges is made of hard balsa CNC machined to exact profile.

The same applies to an elevator

Fuselage is made of two layers of fiberglass and three layers of carbon cloth. The wing and elevator are secured to fuselage by means of high-strength bolts.
It is to possible to order a ballast to the wing( weight 700g) for all variants of model Opus.
